Liberation of Consciousness

We live in a world of rapid and impressive change, where enormous advances are being made in many fields of knowledge and in the understanding of everyday life. Post-industrial society is regarded as the age of information and of the media, which place within our reach a vast amount of information and stimuli.

While our minds are stimulated by the golden age of Science and companies launch themselves into the relentless race to dominate emerging markets, society finds itself in conflict, owing to the absence of an understanding of the spiritual nature of the human being.

In the frantic pace of daily activities, inner harmony and understanding are often sacrificed, resulting in an overburdened nervous system.

As global society becomes ever more urbanised, stress and tension grow exponentially, negatively impacting every level of our life — physical, emotional and social. Urban life, the focus of post-industrial society, presents more complex dilemmas. Today, the combination of the most diverse psychological and environmental pressures has resulted in a disintegration of personality, perhaps more pronounced than at any other moment in human history.

In this context of growing stress, the need arises to find means to attain inner stillness. Psychologists and researchers have proven the effectiveness of meditation techniques, which not only expand the mind but also reintegrate the personality, lifting the individual to a state of greater clarity and freedom of consciousness.

As Shrii Shrii Anandamurti said: "What liberates is the elevated capacity to keep free and unimpeded any perspective, great or small, of a subtle existence — the vigorous capacity to reconcile the harsh reality of life with the ultimate stage of the visionary world.

May we find on this path of self-discovery and reflection the peace and harmony we seek. Keep following our blog for more insights and practices that can help integrate ancient wisdom into our modern lives.

Namaste! With love, Barbara 💕
